HORRIFYING SHOW AT LOCAL DINER
An unexpected tragedy at a local diner took place on Saturday afternoon, in which a boy was caught in an unexpected motor malfunction with one of the animatronic mascots at Fredbear’s Family Diner. The eight-year-old boy, Evan Afton, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after the incident, where he was placed in intensive care and is being kept comatose. Details from eyewitnesses at the time regarding the event seem to indicate that the boy’s brother, along with some high-school age friends, lifted the boy up to the moving head of the star mascot, Fredbear, and forced him inside of the hydraulic jaw of the animatronic. More eyewitness reports express that the older individuals associated with the incident were just trying to scare the boy, and deny any malicious intent.
The police who questioned the group involved say that while there was no evidence of foul play, the situation at the very least involves gross negligence of a minor. The four individuals involved have been placed under suspension from their school, and put into the care of the Four-Center Behavioral Institution. Since the incident, a motion has been filed by the [|||||||] County Board of Public Health and Safety to establish consequences for the actions of the individuals associated with the failed prank. The diner, as well as its franchise, Fazbear Entertainment, is not found responsible or liable for the incident by the BPHS, as the malfunction that occurred was not any fault of the manufacturers. The victim’s father, William Afton, Co-owner of the restaurant, has declined to answer any questions at this time.
